The main use is as a monomer for organic glass, as well as for the production of other plastics, coatings, and other applications. Methyl methacrylate is an intermediate for the fungicide Bacillus subtilis. This product is mainly used as a monomer for polymethyl methacrylate (organic glass), and also co polymerizes with other vinyl monomers to obtain products with different properties. It is also used in the manufacturing of other resins, plastics, adhesives, coatings, lubricants, wood wetting agents, motor coil impregnating agents, ion exchange resins, paper polishing agents, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, leather processing agents, and insulation injection materials.
